International Women's Day - March 8th 2024

Join us while we celebrate International Women’s Day at a dinner honouring two local female leaders. Hosted by the Business and Professional Women’s club of Hasting and Prince Edward, together with the United Nations Association in Canada’s Quinte branch, the dinner on March 8th will honour Sandy Watson-Moyles, the executive director of the Three Oaks Shelter, and Shirin Mandani, the CEO of GrantX and founder of the Community Bakery, for their outstanding contributions to women in the region.
Karen Clayton-Babb will deliver a keynote on the United Nations’ sustainable development goal of good health and well-being. Karen is the Chief Nurse Practitioner and Clinic Director of the Belleville Nurse Practitioner-Led Clinic, and winner of the 2022 Marsha Stephen Community Health Leadership Award.
