At UNAC-Quinte, we are very proud of the accomplishments we have been apart of for the community. A comprehensive list below highlights some of the important contributions of the organization.

 

-Implemented the Environmental Sustainability Model UN in partnership with the Bio Sciences Department, Loyalist College, Belleville.

 

-Initiated the first Model UN Program at the secondary school level in partnership with Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board

 

-Designed and implemented the first Canadian 4-day elementary Model UN-Organized the first Canadian Model UN on the issue of “Fresh Water”

 

-Honored Canadian Peacekeepers

-Initiated the annual income of the international students to the Quinte region with Albert College,The Hastings and Prince Edward District school board,Algonquin and Lakeshore District Roman Catholic School Board and Loyalist College.

​

-Collaborated with Quinte Conservation on the issue of water-local and global,Community event.

​

-Contributed to the Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board,Equity Committee,as a Community Partner.

​

-Annually celebrate World Religions Day with churches and interfaith communities.

​

-Support of a rural village school in Nicaragua.

​

-Implemented the commemoration of the UN day for the Elimination of Racial Discrimination.

​

-Responded to invitations by the Rotary Clubs of Belleville and Stirling promoting Canada's pride and involvement in the Ottawa Convention on the use of Stockpiling,Production and Transfer of Anti-Personnel Mines and on their Destruction.

​

-Initiated proposal to the City of Belleville for joining the Canadian Coalition of Municipalities.

​

-The Ambassadors of Belleville Project -an initiative in partnership with City of Belleville, Loyalist College and Belleville Chamber of Commerce.
